A number of AEW figures, including Evil Uno and Aubrey Edwards, have shared their reactions to several shocking moments that unfolded during Hangman Page's battle against Swerve Strickland at All Out 2024. The bout between the two former World Champions arguably topped their previous encounters in brutality.
AEW presented the 2024 iteration of All Out in the Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The pay-per-view left fans in a daze, as it featured several unforgettable matches and spectacular moments, many of which were incredibly violent and disturbing.
The description applies especially in the case of the Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage match between Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. The two men tore each other apart in the main event of the show, devastating each other with staples, cinder blocks, needles, and broken fragments of Strickland's childhood home, which Page had burned down on the go-home edition of Dynamite before the pay-per-view.
The ending of the bout saw The Hangman destroy Swerve by smashing him on the head with a steel chair, forcing the referee to declare him the winner. Several AEW stars have since reacted to the main event of All Out 2024, taking to X/Twitter to respond to the memorably violent program, including Lee Moriarty, Serpentico, Mason Madden of MxM Collection, referee Aubrey Edwards, and Adam Page's former ally, Evil Uno of The Dark Order.
Check out their reactions below:
"Evil Uno is co-workers with TWO murderers #AEWAllOut," tweeted Evil Uno.
"Going into work now that I know how many of my coworkers are psychopaths," wrote Lee Moriarty.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE," wrote Aubrey Edwards.
Skye Blue wants to burn a house down on AEW TV like Hangman Adam Page
The Steel Cage match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland at All Out 2024 was altered to an Unsanctioned Lights Out matchup after The Cowboy shocked fans on the September 4 episode of Dynamite by setting fire to his arch-rival's childhood home.
The segment was a major talking point among fans heading into the pay-per-view, greatly raising the stakes and anticipation for Page's match against The New Flavor.
Interestingly, Skye Blue seemingly expressed her desire to follow in the footsteps of Adam Page by burning down a house on live television in her response to a post on X/Twitter that advocated for the Chicago native to do the same in a women's division program.
Blue made an appearance at All Out 2024, where she suffered an attack at the hands of AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May before eventually being rescued by Queen Aminata.
On the other hand, Hangman Page was celebrating his victory over Swerve Strickland in the closing shot of All Out. It remains to be seen what lies next for the former World Champion.
