CJ Perry has just exited AEW. New details have come to light regarding her exit.
CJ Perry made a name for herself by playing the role of a ravishing Russian Lana, who served as Miro's manager for several years in WWE. During her time in the company, Perry was able to get over because of her good looks despite not being very good in the ring. At one point, she was more over than her client/husband, Miro.
However, after Miro left the company and went to AEW, Perry followed suit. But she got very little screen time in Tony Khan's company and hasn't been seen on TV in several months.
Perry came into the spotlight when she revealed in a recent interview that her time with AEW was over. Fightful Select is now reporting that CJ Perry, fka Lana, is no longer with AEW and hasn't been working for them for a while. This comes after reports that she wasn't factored into any creative plans for quite some time.

During her interview with USA Today, Perry mentioned that she wants to find and nurture talent to become the best wrestler possible. She also ambitiously stated that she wants to be like Paul Heyman.
"I'm really focused on finding talent and cultivating them and helping them become the best wrestler, champion possible, I guess you could say I want to be the Paul Heyman." [H/T: USA Today]
