Current AEW star Adam Copeland's wife, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, has commented on his unfortunate injury that occurred a few months ago. He has been sidelined for over two months now.
The Glamazon was part of WWE for more than a decade. However, she is currently a free agent as her WWE contract expired last month. She last made a handful of appearances for the promotion when Adam was still signed before his move to AEW. She played a crucial role during his feud with the Judgement Day.
Three months ago, the Rated-R Superstar was injured after jumping off the cage at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view. He landed directly on his leg in an attempt to jump on Malakai Black. While he retained the TNT Championship in the contest, The Young Bucks took the title off him after Copeland announced that he had injured his tibia.

Speaking on Insights with Chris Van Vliet, Beth Phoenix said that Adam Copeland getting injured was a 'tough thing to see'.
"He had to go to the hospital to get looked at so I got more information. (...) 'I’m not just hurt and I can’t work through it, I’m injured.' So like I said, it was a bit life-changing in that way, especially having an injury this late in the game in his career. What does that recovery look like? It’s entirely different. We’re finding this out, all brand new one step at a time. Because we’ve never wrestled at these ages before. So when things come up, this is a learning curve. Mark Henry opens up about Adam Copeland's injury
The Rated-R Superstar's injury was a shock to the entire wrestling industry, and it happened during his title reign.
While speaking on Sportskeeda's WrestleBinge, the World's Strongest Man revealed what the former TNT Champion said to him. Henry also said that he felt bad for Adam Copeland.
"I think he said it best the day after. 'I don't know what I was thinking, my mind still says 100 miles an hour but my body says keep it under 55.' I love that dude. I feel bad for him," he said.
It will be interesting to see when Adam Copeland returns to the promotion in the future.
