Blackpool Combat Club defeat former WWE champion's faction members on AEW Rampage

Blackpool Combat Club's Claudio Castangoli and Wheeler Yuta have once again shown their tag team prowess, after besting Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona of The Mogul Embassy.

On Dynamite this week, BCC's Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland, the leader of The Mogul Embassy, to become the next contender for the TNT Championship.

In the main event, all hell broke loose, as following Adam Copeland's win against Luchasaurus, it turned into an all-out brawl. Christian and Luchasaurus started a beatdown against The Rated-R Superstar. This prompted Danielson to come out to save him, which started a chain reaction of stars coming out, including more members of the BCC, and The Mogul Embassy.

This set of events triggered a tag team match to be booked for the night. Castagnoli and Yuta were coming off a dominant squash match last weekend. It was a different match, to say the least, as they proved to be a much more difficult challenge for the Blackpool Combat Club.

In the end, Castagnoli and Wheeler were able to set up their Fastball Special, to seal the deal once more, and earn them a second straight victory.

So far, the BCC members are undefeated, but the most important match comes next when Bryan Danielson challenges Christian Cage for the TNT Championship.
