"Brawl Out 2," "Punk was right" - Fans lose it after reports of another massive backstage fight in AEW emerges

AEW is gearing up for its All In PPV event on August 25, however, recent reports have shifted the focus to a major backstage incident that happened within the promotion. Fans of the organization have also reacted to the issue with some interesting comments.

Britt Baker and MJF reportedly had a heated exchange backstage a couple of weeks ago. Baker was heard making some controversial comments about Friedman and his girlfriend Alicia Atout which eventually led to the confrontation. The promotion has since suspended the former AEW Women's World Champion.

The details about the massive backstage fight were revealed in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer.

The fans have reacted to the controversy and labeled it as Brawl In part two. Another fan stated that CM Punk was totally right about the Tony Khan-led promotion:

Meanwhile, other fans further supported CM Punk's comments about the Jacksonville-based promotion with one stating that Britt Baker and Adam Cole should leave AEW to sign with the WWE:

"I thought punk was the only backstage issue this company has ever had." a fan tweeted.
"Now can Adam Cole get suspended and they both come to wwe" another fan tweeted.
"It’s time for Britt Baker to come home to the WWE!" a fan stated.

All In 2023 PPV event was full of controversy due to CM Punk's backstage altercation with Jack Perry. It led to Tony Khan firing Punk from the Jacksonville-based promotion which led to his massive WWE return.


Britt Baker recently opened up about her health issues before AEW return

The former Women's World Champion made her shocking return at the Forbidden Door PPV event after a long hiatus. In a recent chat on Close Up with Renee Paquette, Britt Baker opened up about the injuries that forced her to take time off from All Elite Wrestling:

“It was the weirdest thing. I was in Orlando with my hairstylist Amanda, the best in Orlando. I was sitting down and I just remember I felt sick. Something was off and the room was spinning. I was sick, nauseous, sweating. Something was not right. She could tell right away, ‘Are you okay?’ [She] asked me if I needed water. Definitely needed water. First thing that came to mind was something with my neck."

Despite her recent suspension, Britt Baker is still scheduled to face Mercedes Mone for her TBS Women's Championship at the AEW All In PPV event on August 25th. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming days.
