A 248-pound WWE veteran made his blockbuster debut on AEW Collision and put on a frightening display of dominance. This was as resounding a debut as it could get.
The star in question is none other than Shelton Benjamin. He has been pushed as a daunting performer ever since he made his debut in the company, and it was no different on Collision.
The Hurt Syndicate member took on Komander in what was supposed to be an evenly matched contest. However, that was far from the case, as the former WWE star put on one of the most comprehensive displays of his career. He toyed around with the masked star, taking fans by surprise.
Komander hit Benjamin with a 619, but that was not enough to put the latter down. The multi-time WWE champion then hit his opponent with a thrust kick, and that was lights out. Benjamin followed it up with a powerslam and picked up the win on his Collision debut.
After the match, MVP and Shelton Benjamin inflicted more punishment on Komander and his manager, Alex Abrahantes. This would have sent a warning to the entire AEW roster.
