A former WWE NXT star seemingly suffered a broken arm after his match at AEW Full Gear 2024. Multiple stars came out to check on the performer, and some drama unfolded.
The former WWE star in question is Roderick Strong. He made his All Elite Wrestling debut last year and has had a stellar run thus far. Strong squared off against Maxwell Jacob Friedman at the 2024 Full Gear pay-per-view after securing consecutive wins on the company's programming.
A few weeks ago, MJF announced that whoever among Adam Cole and Roderick Storm would win three consecutive matches would face him at Full Gear. While Cole failed to meet the condition, Strong succeeded in winning three back-to-back bouts to secure a contest against The Wolf of Wrestling.
At Full Gear, the match began with Friedman taking shots at Strong and AEW fans. The former World Champion ultimately managed to capture the win by making Roderick Strong tap out with an arm lock. After his win, MJF used a steel chair to seemingly "shatter" the bad arm of Strong.
Adam Cole came to the aid of his friend, but Kyle O'Reilly showed up and shoved Cole before taking Strong with him.
The drama between the former Undisputed Era members from WWE NXT is far from over. Only time will tell where the story is heading.
