Tonight on Collision, Mariah May has gotten through arguably her biggest task since becoming the AEW Women's World Champion. She did so by defeating the only woman to pin her in recent times, Anna Jay.

Since becoming the champion at All In and dethroning Toni Storm, The Glamour has been on a roll and has been untouchable. In the few months that she's been on top, she has not been pinned a single time. But three weeks ago, she was surprisingly pinned by Anna Jay via a roll-up pin.
Having been pinned by her once already, all pressure was on Mariah May and how she was going to bounce back. With her title being on the line this time, she could not take anything for granted.

At a point in the match, Jay had her Queen Slayer chokehold fully locked in. May could not make her way to the bottom rope for a rope break and had to roll over to go for a pinfall cover and force her to break this.
Eventually, Mariah May was able to score the win via a roll-up pin, getting her retribution on Anna Jay by pinning her in the same manner. She rubbed this in her face post-match as she gloated at her on her way to the back.

Enzo is a Pro Wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda, reporting on AEW. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
