Earlier tonight, the Learning Tree faced off against the former AEW World Champion in a Stampede Street Fight. Joe wanted a chance to face Jericho in a match where he would not need to hold back. This match stipulation meant that everything was legal and the stars were not limited by anything, such as rope breaks or count-outs.
Once the action spilled backstage, Samoa Joe felt the wrath of the numbers advantage. He had the Coquina Clutch locked in on Jericho but ended up receiving a chair shot from Big Bill. They then set him up on top of a wooden plank on a forklift before Jericho drove him straight through a wall.

The bout was called off as match officials and some backstage personnel went in to check on Joe. Moments later, he was seen on a stretcher being loaded into an ambulance.
From afar, The Learning Tree watched this unfold with smiles on their faces as Chris Jericho seemed proud of what he had done. Now, the faction has taken out both HOOK and Samoa Joe.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
