A top AEW champion was shockingly pinned on the latest episode of Collision and this surprised everyone inside the arena. This will have major ramifications moving forward.

AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia faced off against Mark Briscoe in a Continental Classic Blue League match and shockingly lost against the latter in what was a major upset. The match started off on the back of the two men delivering a promo on each other backstage right before the bell rang.

They did not waste much time and hit each other with a series of hard-hitting moves. The match witnessed a lot of eventful moves and some of them were even executed outside the ring. As the match got to the business end, Briscoe kicked out of a piledriver.

He then hit Daniel Garcia with a froggy bow but it got a two-count and that seemed to inject more urgency into the match. The reigning TNT Champion hit Mark with a jackknife cradle but even that led to a near fall.

However, as the match was nearing its end, Mark Briscoe finally got the win after hitting Daniel Garcia with a cut throat driver in what was a great match.
