It was suddenly announced tonight that ECW legend Taz had to be relieved of his duties and escorted out of the arena for specific reasons. This would come at the hands of Chris Jericho.
At Forbidden Door last weekend, The Learning Tree, Big Bill, and Jeff Cobb faced Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata. To score the win, the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil used Jericho's Judas Effect finisher against him.
The former WWE Champion addressed this tonight on Dynamite. He talked about how HOOK broke the cardinal rule in wrestling: One should never steal another's finisher. He then accused HOOK's father, Taz, of biased commentary as he celebrated his son's win during the pay-per-view from the announcement desk.
Chris Jericho was not scheduled tonight for anything, but because he wanted his TV time, he appeared as a guest commentator as Joe, HOOK, and Shibata were set for a trios match.
Jericho wished to be a color commentator but couldn't stand sitting beside Taz. Thus, he got an executive order from the Young Bucks to relieve the WWE legend from his commentary duties for the rest of the night and even had him escorted out of the arena.
After security escorted the veteran out, Jericho provided commentary for the rest of the match.
