Bryan Danielson is currently out of action and could be retired from full-time competition. His wife, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Garcia (FKA Brie Bella), recently posted a photo of their "date night" on Instagram.

The American Dragon lost his AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024. The Blackpool Combat Club brutally attacked him after the match, and fans haven't seen him on AEW TV since. Danielson was obviously banged up and needed to recover after his three-year run with All Elite Wrestling.

The veteran now seems to be enjoying his time at home with his wife and children. Brie Bella gave fans a glimpse of the 43-year-old when she posted a photo of their "date night" on her Instagram Stories. The image shows Danielson relaxing in a sauna at their home:

"Friday Date Night @bryandanielson," Brie wrote.

Bryan Danielson may be able to avoid surgery

Bryan Danielson's biggest issue towards the end of his AEW run seemed to be his neck. The American Dragon had commented on it and claimed that he might have to undergo a surgical procedure once he'd wrapped up his full-time career.

His former allies in the Blackpool Combat Club likely didn't do him any favors when they jumped him after his match at WrestleDream in October. The last time fans saw Danielson, he was being stretchered out of the Tacoma Dome.

Bryan Danielson is rehabbing his neck at home, and a recent report from Fightful Select notes that he's trying to avoid surgery. Fightful claimed that the former AEW World Champion is set to undergo stem cell treatment, which he hopes will stave off an invasive procedure.

The 43-year-old might be done as a full-time wrestler, but he's shown interest in staying on with AEW in other capacities. Whether The American Dragon returns as a coach or a member of the creative team remains to be seen.
