For some time now, it has been speculated that Bobby Lashley is AEW-bound. Fans on social media have now reacted to the possibility of The All Mighty making his debut in the Tony Khan-led promotion at an upcoming event.
At WrestleDream 2024 earlier this month, MVP asked Swerve Strickland to join forces with him and Shelton Benjamin. The Realest turned down the offer emphatically, opting to remain loyal to his manager, Prince Nana. He almost ended up brawling with Benjamin after the latter delivered a stern warning, forcing officials to separate both stars.
After The Gold Standard won his debut AEW match against Lio Rush, MVP asked Strickland to reconsider his proposition to avoid the same fate as The Blackheart. However, the former World Champion refused to back down from a prospective bout against Benjamin. Later, a match was announced between him and the 49-year-old veteran for Fright Night Dynamite on October 30.
Earlier today, the X/Twitter profile of All Elite Wrestling shared a poster promoting Swerve Strickland's upcoming match with Shelton Benjamin next week.

Fans on the social media platform voiced their excitement about watching The Realest battle The Standard of Excellence in an AEW ring on Dynamite. Notably, several users speculated that former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley could make his debut on the Wednesday night program.
According to reports, Lashley has already signed with the Jacksonville-based company. Whether The All Mighty will show up on Dynamite to run interference on behalf of Shelton Benjamin and kick off a feud with Swerve Strickland in the process remains to be seen.
Bobby Lashley remarked on his future as AEW rumors continue to circulate
Amid ongoing rumors regarding Bobby Lashley's impending All Elite Wrestling arrival, the former WWE Champion addressed his future during a recent virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest. Lashley asserted that he still had a lot left to offer inside the squared circle and commented on his current physical condition.
"I know the last few years have been a little up and down. But I got a lot more left in the tank and I can’t wait to jump back out there. I had a little boo-boo, so I took a little time off to fix myself and I’m feeling good right now. I’ve been working out hard and I think the next few weeks, you should see something - something pop off. It’s time to put pen to paper and start getting back to these fans."
Interestingly, Lashley also expressed his unhappiness with Shelton Benjamin dominating Lio Rush on All Elite Wrestling programming and praised the latter as a "freaking star."
It remains to be seen when and how Bobby Lashley might make his debut on All Elite Wrestling television.
