The former AEW Women's World Champion, Britt Baker disclosed the reason behind her sudden absence from TV for the past few weeks. She was last seen on the November 13 episode of Dynamite.
Dr. Britt Baker DMD has been one of the pillars of her division ever since the company's inception in 2019. The former AEW Women's World Champion has been in some major storylines during her tenure but is currently absent from TV. Baker was involved in an angle with Serena Deeb prior to her absence.
Meanwhile, Baker opened up on her absence from AEW TV while speaking to DDP on his YouTube channel. She stated that she had been filming some fun things and also learning some special skills and would tell everyone about that soon. The 33-year-old also spoke of leveling up as a wrestler during her time away.
"I’m filming some fun stuff, can’t wait to tell everybody what it is. It’s on the down low now but it’s really exciting and I think people will be excited about it. I’m learning special stuff, definitely. It’s kind of a whole new world. Our world is special but we have so much more to learn, to make yourself a well-rounded pro wrestler, learn as much as you can. Been training more in stunts, martial arts and everything I can since I’m off the road right now. So until I come back, I’m like let’s cook up on this time off," she said. [H/T: Ringside News]
