Britt Baker has just shared a cryptic post amid all the controversy surrounding her currently. This was following reports suggesting she was currently serving a suspension given to her by AEW management.
A few days ago, it was revealed that the former AEW Women's World Champion was suspended by the promotion for up to two weeks due to a backstage altercation she had with MJF. It was reported that she made some unwarranted comments regarding Friedman, and he confronted her about the issue.
On Instagram, Britt Baker shared a post that had an interesting quote. It talked about how a person should just be who they wanted to be, as they had no control over how others perceived them. This comes at an interesting time as she has been a hot topic as of late.
"Friendly reminder that you have no control over how people perceive you, so you might as well just be the person you want to be anyway," the post read.

Curiously, MJF on the other hand was not given any disciplinary sanction following the altercation between the two stars.
Britt Baker's incident with MJF is reportedly not the first she's had in AEW
It seems that this current incident with MJF was not the first backstage incident that Britt Baker has had, as per reports.
During a recent edition of the Mat Men Wrestling Podcast, Andrew Zarian talked about how this was not the first time that Baker had been involved in an issue in AEW. Although the previous incidents were not disclosed, this may have contributed to her suspension this time around.
“This is not a one-off. One confrontation is not the reason [...] This is not the first time something has happened like this [...] This isn't the first time there has been issues with Britt," he said. [0:40 onwards]
At this point, it remains to be seen whether all is resolved backstage. However, with Britt Baker set to compete in a high-profile match against Mercedes Moné at All In later this month, it remains to be seen whether this incident impacts the championship bout in any way.
