Britt Baker is currently in a feud with Serena Deeb in AEW. The two stars have been taking shots at each other for a while.
Around a month ago, Baker defeated Penelope Ford in a singles match, after which Deeb confronted her. She insulted The Professor by insinuating that nobody cared about her in the pro wrestling world. The former Women's World Champion also claimed that she was much superior to Deeb.
The former WWE star clapped back at Britt Baker by wearing a "Nobody Cares" shirt with an arrow pointing towards her face on Collision. Deeb later took a jab at Baker by subbing her in an Instagram post. The veteran shared a fantasy booking list of women's wrestlers who she thought should participate in the Women's Continental Classic if Tony Khan ever introduced the tournament.
Top names like Saraya and Hikaru Shida were missing from the list. However, Baker's omission was more prominent and noticeable due to their beef with each other.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"Would you guys like to see a Women’s Continental Classic? A little fantasy booking here... Someone suggested this list to me, and I think it’s a pretty great list! But there’s an endless amount of talent we have in the @aew women’s division who would be a great fit for it. Which begs the question, who would you like to see in a Women’s Continental Classic?"
Britt Baker is reportedly out of action indefinitely
Britt Baker was out for nearly a year due to two herniated disks, a torn hip labrum, and a transient ischemic attack. She returned at Forbidden Door 2024 but arguably hasn't been featured on AEW television prominently.
Last week, Fightful Select revealed that she had scheduling conflicts over the past few months and subsequently fell sick. AEW seemingly had creative plans for her, but those pitches never came to fruition due to undisclosed reasons.
