Earlier tonight, AEW announced that next week, a popular event will be returning to their live programming. This would be Beach Break and fans have already begun speculating on some potential surprises.

The promotion announced that next week's Dynamite will feature Beach Break and this will take place in Chicago. They have also announced some matches, including a grudge match between Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale as part of the Semifinal of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament and PAC taking on the winner of Bryan Danielson vs. Shingo Takagi at Forbidden Door this weekend.

Another match that was announced was Jeff Jarrett taking on the Owen Hart Cup tournament's wild card in a quarterfinal matchup. Fans have begun speculating on the identity of the mystery competitor and whether this could be a major return or a surprise debut.

Several fans believe that the wild card could be the returning Hangman Adam Page. Recent reports have mentioned that his return was imminent and that he could make his return as early as July.

With Swerve Strickland being the current AEW World Champion, and the winner of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament earning a world title shot, this could be the perfect motivation for Hangman to enter the tournament.

"The return of Hangman in Chicago?" a fan guessed.
"Oh, Hangman is so gonna destroy Jeff," one claimed.

Some fans believe this could be a debut, naming the likes of Ricochet and even Brock Lesnar as potential arrivals. The former NXT Superstar could be on the way out of the company after not choosing to re-sign with WWE, while Lesnar has been on a hiatus for quite some time now, and his status with the company remains questionable.

"Hangman or The debut Of Ricochet?" said another.
"CM Punk returns!" one replied.
"Brock Lesnar vs. Jeff jarret is gonna be a banger," another mentioned.

The Young Bucks teased Hangman's return earlier on AEW Dynamite

Hangman Adam Page has been absent on-screen after he was suspended by The Young Bucks. This was due to him putting his hands on an official during the AEW World Title match at AEW Revolution three months ago.

Tonight on Dynamite, they teased his return to the promotion as the wildcard of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament. The EVPs mentioned that they were entering their very own wildcard into the tournament. This probably meant that the surprise entrant was someone close to them.

With Jack Perry preoccupied as he is going after the TNT Championship, no one from the current allies of The Elite could be a possible entrant. Hangman is technically still part of the faction as he was only suspended, while Kenny Omega was actually fired from the group.

Fans will have to tune in next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite to find out who the wildcard will be and whether this could indeed be Hangman making his return to the promotion.
