House of Black member Brody King has lavished praise on AEW President Tony Khan. He pointed out how Khan seamlessly balances his multiple responsibilities.

Since WCW went out of business in 2001, WWE had an unopposed run for almost two decades before AEW came into the picture. The Tony Khan-led company quickly found its footing and five years into its existence, is a viable alternative that has drawn several fans from the Stamford-based promotion.

Khan is not only involved in the business side of things but also leads the creative team that books several hours of TV. In a recent chat with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Brody King spoke highly of Tony Khan's work ethic. The House of Black member praised Khan for juggling several ventures at once apart from AEW, including the football clubs Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham FC.

"He's a ball of energy at all times. I'm not convinced the man sleeps, ever. He goes from a pay-per-view in AEW to a Jaguars game. And when you see him on the field he's the like same pepped-up Tony and you're like, 'Jesus, how do you do this?' I feel wrecked the next day and he's called a whole pay-per-view and now he's helping with the football game. And then he'll fly to England and do something with Fulham. He's dedicated and one of the hardest-working humans I have ever met. I have nothing but respect for Tony Khan," said Brody King. (1:55 - 2:42)

Brody King on meeting MVP after his AEW debut

Elsewhere in the interview, Brody King looked back at welcoming MVP to All Elite Wrestling in the aftermath of the latter's debut at Grand Slam 2024. King also mentioned that he and MVP share a storied history. He discussed their time in MLW and disclosed that the WWE legend had taken him under his wing back then.

"If anybody knows my career, I've actually had a lot of history with MVP. We wrestled in MLW. When I was on the indies, he was one of the first persons to take me under his wing. I would consider him a mentor, he gave me a lot of advice when I was very young in the business. So when I saw him show up in AEW, it was as much a surprise to me as it was to the audience. And I walked up to him after it was done and said, 'Welcome to AEW. I'm glad you're here." Gave him a hug and a handshake," said King.

MVP reunited with his Hurt Business stablemate from WWE, Shelton Benjamin, on All Elite Wrestling TV. Bobby Lashley, too, is expected to join the duo soon.
