"Broooo delete this" "You vibe with a murderer" - Fans in disbelief as AEW star publicly agrees to Chris Benoit comparison

Chris Benoit was a fantastic pro wrestler but he has an ill reputation in the sports entertainment industry due to his double murder-suicide controversy. Therefore, the fans were shocked when they learned that AEW star Brian Cage acknowledged being compared to him.

The Rabid Wolverine had a two-decade-long career in pro wrestling where he won a bunch of titles in different promotions. He was most popular for his stint in WWE but had also worked with other top promotions like ECW, WCW, and NJPW.

Brian Cage was recently tagged on a post on X (fka Twitter) where a fan compared him to Chris Benoit and The Ultimate Warrior. Cage claimed to like the comparison which shocked the wrestling universe.

The fans were upset that Cage liked being compared to The Crippler:

"He's comparing you to a serial killer dawg 😭", said a fan.

"You vibe with a murderer I question your mindset right there," tweeted this person.

Many people asked him to take down the tweet before it blew up in his face:

"It's not a compliment," post read,

"broooo delete this..... the room you need to read is as thick as 5 bible stack on each other....." commented a fan.

Buff Bagwell cried and hugged Chris Benoit after getting released from WWE

Speaking on his Marcus Buff Bagwell channel, Buff Bagwell revealed that when Jim Ross, who was in charge of WWE's talent relations department, released him from WWE, he shared an emotional moment with Chris Benoit. The former WCW star cried and hugged Benoit:

"I just kinda wobbled my bags out to the back, trying to not be noticed, and then when I got outside I remember I started crying and a white [Ford] Explorer pulled up, and it was Chris Benoit and his wife, and I remember just totally crying at this stage. He's like, 'Where are you going?' I said, 'Dude, I think I just got fired.' I said, 'They called it released but I don't know, man. It's crazy, so I'm going home.' I hugged Chris. I said goodbye to Chris."
