Bryan Danielson on a 36-year-old star: "Her personality just bleeds through the screen"

The American Dragon Bryan Danielson is a huge fan of a top female star currently being featured in a big storyline in AEW. The star in question is none other than Mina Shirakawa.

The AEW Women's World Champion 'Timeless' Toni Storm recently issued a huge challenge to Mina Shirakawa for a match at the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view. The Stardom star has done incredible work in the Jacksonville-based promotion ever since her arrival and also sparked some problems between Mariah May and Toni Storm. Mina won the Goddess of Stardom tag titles with Mariah May last summer.

Speaking in an interview with Sports Illustrated, Bryan Danielson praised Mina Shirakawa for getting over in All Elite Wrestling. The veteran further expressed his excitement for Mina's match against Toni Storm at Forbidden Door.

Bryan Danielson further revealed his conversation with Tony Khan about Mina Shirakawa

The former WWE Champion has a great eye for talent and helps out AEW in scouting some young stars for the Jacksonville-based promotion. Bryan Danielson recently heavily praised the Japanese star. In the same interview with Sports Illustrated, Bryan revealed that he and Tony Khan love Mina's in-ring work and claimed that her storyline with Toni Storm and Mariah May is compelling.

“I have said hi to her maybe twice - there really hasn’t been any conversation, but I was watching Dynamite in Tony’s office the other night, and we both remarked at how she does such a good job,” said Danielson. “Whatever the cultural differences or language barriers, it makes no difference.
