Double or Nothing 2024 is inching closer, and some members of Team AEW, including Bryan Danielson, were in action earlier tonight to test their chemistry as teammates.
Danielson teamed up with FTR (fka The Revival in WWE) on the latest episode of Collision. It marked the first time The American Dragon combined forces with Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood for a match. They locked horns with Lance Archer and The Righteous in a trios contest.
The heels were seemingly doing the bidding of The Elite as they attempted to soften up their rivals before the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing. It was a close contest, with members of Team AEW taking advantage of their agility, and their opponents having the upper hand in terms of size. In the end, FTR hit the Shatter Machine on Vincent for the win.
Following the bout, Lance Archer and Dutch immediately blindsided Bryan Danielson and FTR. After sending Bryan Danielson out of the ring, they used steel chairs to launch a gruesome attack on the former WWE Tag Team Champions. Eventually, Daniel Garcia came for the save but it was a little too late as the heels had already laid out Wheeler and Harwood.
It will be interesting to see whether Team AEW can exact revenge on The Elite at Double or Nothing on May 26, 2024.
