AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson reacted to an announcement regarding his match this week on Dynamite. The American Dragon will be defending his world title this Wednesday.

Bryan Danielson won the AEW World Championship by defeating Swerve Strickland at All In 2024 in one of the most emotional moments. After successfully defending the title at All Out against Jack Perry, Danielson defeated Nigel McGuinness at Dynamite: Grand Slam last week as the two wrestled after 15 years.

Meanwhile, The American Dragon is scheduled for another massive match on the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite this Wednesday. It was recently announced that Bryan Danielson is slated to defend the AEW World Title against the Continental Champion, Kazuchika Okada.

Furthermore, the Continental Title will also be on the line for the first 20 minutes of the match. Following the major announcement, Danielson took to the X/Twitter social media platform to open up on his upcoming match against The Rainmaker. Bryan wrote the following in his post:

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Once and for all, we’ll see who’s the best," he said.

Moreover, it will be the third showdown between Danielson and Okada after they squared off at Forbidden Door 2023 and Wrestle Kingdom 2024, respectively.

Bryan Danielson sends a message to Jon Moxley

If Danielson retains his AEW World Title against Jon Moxley at WrestleDream this Wednesday, he will defend it against Kazuchika Okada.

Amidst their feud, Danielson sent Mox the following message through his Instagram post:

"Jon, you said my idea wasn't working. And that's when I realized, as much as I'd love to fight you, as much as I'd love to bloody you, I'm not fighting against a man. I'm fighting against an idea, and I'm fighting for my idea of how I wanna be as the AEW World Champion," he said.

Henceforth, it remains to be seen if Danielson retains the AEW World Title against Okada this Wednesday.
