An elite group of AEW and WWE wrestlers recently welcomed Bryan Danielson into their exclusive club. The veteran star joined CM Punk, Chris Jericho, and Jon Moxley as the only grapplers to hold world championships in both promotions. Danielson has just opened up on how he felt after his 'Mania win versus his health after All In 2024.

The American Dragon kicked off WWE WrestleMania XXX in 2014 with a win over Triple H to earn his spot in the main event. He then tore the roof off the Superdome in New Orleans by defeating Batista and then-champion, Randy Orton, for the World Heavyweight Championship. Fast forward 3,795 days to August 25, 2024, at AEW's second annual All In from Wembley Stadium in London. Danielson dethroned Swerve Strickland of the World Championship.

Danielson battled near-career-ending issues between the milestone victories, and his health remains a focal point of AEW storylines. The 25-year veteran recently spoke with Undisputed's Justin Barrasso and revealed how he "didn't sleep well," but the All In euphoria carried over into the next day. He also recalled how he felt after each match.

"I didn’t have media the next morning like I did 10 years ago when I won the belt after WrestleMania 30 or RAW the next night, so that was different. This time, I didn’t sleep well. My body was in a decent amount of pain. But the kids were happy, we went on some adventures in London, and it was just great," Bryan Danielson said.

Danielson's post-match celebrations at WrestleMania 30 and All In both included confetti and fireworks. His sister and niece were allowed in the ring on The Grandest Stage of Them All, while his stablemates, wife, son, and daughter were let into the squared circle at Wembley.

The 43-year-old recently made a major revelation about his wife, Brie Bella, and what she was not allowed to do.

First match to be finalized for AEW WrestleDream

All Elite Wrestling will debut at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, October 12 for the second annual WrestleDream pay-per-view. Like the inaugural event in 2023, the PPV will once again be held in honor of NJPW founder, Antonio Inoki.

AEW has confirmed that Bryan Danielson will defend the World Championship at WrestleDream. He will face the winner of Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin at the Grand Slam Dynamite special this coming Wednesday. Allin's guaranteed title shot from winning Royal Rampage will be on the line in the bout.

Danielson has not defended his championship since winning it at AEW All In. He will face Nigel McGuinness in a non-title match at Grand Slam this week. The storyline is that the champ will only compete if he's medically cleared.
