AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson, formerly known as Daniel Bryan, is scheduled to defend his title against Jon Moxley at the AEW WrestleDream 2024 Pay-Per-View. The rivalry between the two men has gotten intense over the past few weeks, and their upcoming match will most likely be a brutal one.
During the latest episode of Dynamite, Danielson teamed up with Wheeler Yuta to take on the team of Claudio Castagnoli & PAC and the former duo emerged victorious. However, there was utter chaos after the conclusion of the bout. Everyone involved in this match brawled, but The American Dragon stood tall in the end.
After the show went off the air, the reigning AEW World Champion spoke to the audience in attendance. He thanked them for being an engaging crowd and also asked them if they were interested in seeing him obliterate his opponent in the upcoming WrestleDream Pay-Per-View.
"I just want to say thank you to everybody in the building tonight because Spokane, you guys have been an incredible audience. Thank you very much. Now I’ve got a couple of questions to ask you guys. Do you guys like Wheeler Yuta? Do you guys wanna see me beat Jon Moxley at WrestleDream this Saturday? My last and final question, do you want to see me kick Jon Moxley, do you want to see me kick his f*****g head in?" Bryan Danielson said. [H/T Ringside News]
It remains to be seen what plans Tony Khan has in store for the 43-year-old star moving forward.
Jim Ross called AEW star Bryan Danielson a "pro's pro"
During a recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW personality Jim Ross said that he was a huge fan of Bryan Danielson. Good Ol' JR mentioned that the 43-year-old star is capable of delivering a great match against anybody and also called him a "pro's pro."
"The work Bryan Danielson has done is nothing short of extraordinary. The quality of matches he has with everybody he gets in the ring with takes great skill and being unselfish. Bryan is a pro's pro. I've worked with some great bookers in my career. Some of them are considered the best in the field. But there has never been a generation of talent that Bryan Danielson would not fit," Jim Ross said.
It will be interesting to see whether The American Dragon manages to defeat Jon Moxley at the upcoming AEW WrestleDream Pay-Per-View.
