AEW celebrated its five-year anniversary with the recent Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, but one of the biggest happenings coming out of the big event was the surprise return of MJF. The popular star is moving forward in his new storyline, but the legendary Bully Ray has pitched what could be an even bigger idea.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman returned to AEW Dynamite this week and began a rivalry with Rush, which is leading to a match at Forbidden Door. The Salt Of The Earth is widely regarded as one of the best talkers in all of pro wrestling. Another All Elite star who is generally praised for his mic work is Chris Jericho, who is currently paired with a certain heavyweight who often needs a good mouthpiece talent by his side: Big Bill.
Bully Ray praised former WWE stars Enzo Amore (aka Real1) and Big Cass (aka Big Bill) on X this week when responding to a clip of their 2016 main roster debut against The Dudleyz, declaring them to be "by far the most over original act" to ever come from NXT.
Another fan said Tony Khan should bring Enzo to AEW, as he and Big Bill would become the most popular act on the roster. Bully responded with a pitch for a feud between Enzo and MJF.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
"Enzo vs MJF on the [microphone emoji] Book it and take my [money bag emoji]," Bully Ray wrote.
Jericho, Bill and Real1 have not publicly responded to Bully Ray as of this writing. Enzo has been working in OVW as of late but has never wrestled for Khan's companies.
