AEW star Mercedes Mone currently holds the TBS Championship and the Strong Women's Title. Her run as a double champion has been dominant so far. Moreover, ever since she allied with former NWA World Women's Champion, Kamille, the company's women's division has been put on notice. Mone has now reacted to a major decision made by the management.
Mone will lock horns with three-time AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida at All Out 2024. Interestingly, on the latest episode of Dynamite, it was announced that Kamille will be banned from ringside during this title match.
After interim AEW Executive Vice President Christopher Daniels decided to ban Kamille from ringside, Mone was furious and shocked. Furthermore, The CEO disapproved of this decision in a short backstage interview.
"What am I thinking? What did I do to deserve this? Christopher Daniels! I don't have time to give you an answer. But I do have time to go talk to my EVPs. I gotta go talk to them right now because this is unfair," Mone said in an exclusive interview posted on AEW's X/Twitter handle.

Mone also expressed her anger on X/Twitter by quote-reposting Kamille's tweet. She wrote:
"Calling my EVPs now. 📞 🤬"
The EVPs the 32-year-old mentioned are none other than The Young Bucks. Mone seemingly has a good relationship with Nick and Matt Jackson, meaning the abovementioned decision could be overturned.
Mercedes Mone issued a warning to her All Out challenger, Hikaru Shida
On the latest episode of Dynamite, Mercedes Mone delivered a promo where she claimed to be the face of AEW's women's division. The CEO also promised Shida that she would pay the price for messing with her.
“I am the face of this whole da*n company! Come this Saturday at All Out, Shida, you are going to learn just like the rest of this division that there is a price to pay when you mess with The CEO Mercedes Mone,” she said.
Mone previously defended the TBS Championship against Britt Baker at All In 2024.
