"Toni like a 100% a**kicker. This is great. Signal that she could beat Jamie for the @AEW womens title and not lose a beat," a fan tweeted.

It is to be noted that building up to this match, Fred Rosser was taking to his Twitter to share multiple photoshopped pictures with the former AEW Women's Champion.

WWE veteran Konnan criticized Toni Storm's heel turn

A few months ago, Toni Storm, along with Saraya, turned heel on an episode of Dynamite. The week after, they sent a warning to the rest of the locker room by assaulting multiple talents.

During an episode of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, WWE veteran Konnan shared his thoughts on the segment. The wrestling veteran felt that Leva Bates getting beaten up by the newly turned heels was a bad idea. He believed that the duo should have attacked a babyface that the fans cared about.

"That was so amateurish, and here’s the main part: Leva Bates, super cool chick, bro she’s never on Dynamite. You’re supposed to get sympathy, [use] somebody people care about, not a nobody that’s never on TV. They don’t give a f**k. Then it was just done so amateurishly, like, really dude?" Konnan said.
