WWE continues to load up its roster with established veterans, rising superstars, and rookie talents. Penta El Zero Miedo recently left AEW amid controversy and is expected to debut with WWE imminently. Chelsea Green is no stranger to the masked grappler and has just teased his arrival while issuing a defiant statement on their highly praised in-ring encounter.
The Hot Mess of World Wrestling Entertainment recently made history by becoming the inaugural Women's United States Champion. Green made a name in WWE, TNA, and ROH, but got a second chance from Triple H in early 2023.
Zero-Fear left AEW as a two-time champion after making his name wrestling around the world for the past twenty years. The former TNA World Champion held Lucha Underground's main championship twice, and their Gift of the Gods Championship once. LUG is where Penta and Chelsea crossed paths in a major way.
Billed as Penta Dark and Reklusa, episode eighteen from Lucha Underground season four in October 2018 saw Pentagon defeat Green in the high-impact near-10-minute main event. At one point, the intergender bout saw Green take a stiff package piledriver on the apron, which is still talked about by fans today. In a reference to reports on Penta joining WWE, a fan tweeted a clip from Reklusa vs. Penta and commented that the two grapplers will meet once again soon. Chelsea responded with just the eyes emoji, fueling rumors and speculation.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Another fan chimed in and asked Green how bad the piledriver hurt, on a scale from one to ten. The one-time TNA Knockouts World Champion responded with seven words to get her absolute point across.
"zero cause I'm a god d**n beast," Chelsea Green wrote.
WWE has not announced Green's first challenger after defeating Michin at Saturday Night's Main Event in the tournament finals. Pentagon's last AEW match was in July, but he's worked for CMLL and several Mexican indies since then, last defeating DMT Azul on September 22.
WWE continues to tease mystery arrival
World Wrestling Entertainment began teasing what appears to be the debut of a new superstar last week on RAW. A new vignette aired on this week's RAW, and there continues to be speculation and reports on how this is building to the debut of former AEW star Pentagon Jr.
The initial teaser included a symbol for "zero fear," one of Penta's nicknames. This week, the same symbol was used, along with a pentagram, which he also wears, and other related imagery. It's believed that Penta will debut on January 6 during the RAW Netflix premiere.
Rey Fenix is still expected to join his real-life brother in WWE at some point. It remains to be seen when Fenix's AEW contract will be up, but the date is sometime later in 2025.
