AEW star Chris Jericho competed in his debut match for DDT Pro Wrestling promotion at their Ultimate Part event. The Ocho faced his current AEW rival, Konosuke Takeshita, and successfully tapped him out with The Walls of Jericho to secure the victory.
However, Jericho paid attention to another match big match on the card, which was for the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship between Hiromu Takahashi, who successfully retained his title against Kazuki Hirata.
On Twitter, a fan asked Jericho his thoughts on the match, to which the former WWE Champion responded in three words:
"Words can’t describe …."
Don Callis wants former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho to retire
AEW manager Don Callis recently made a bold statement about Chris Jericho after his match against Powerhouse Hobbs.
The Ocho faced Powerhouse Hobbs on the October 10, 2023, edition of Dynamite in a losing effort to the young star. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Don Callis revealed if he felt sorry for Chris Jericho when Hobbs was beating him up on Dynamite:
“One of the chapters in the upcoming management book, Management Secrets of Don Callis and The Don Callis Family is called, 'See everything, feel nothing.' I haven’t had those emotions in my life, so I don’t know what they are. I can see when I watch people, whether they’re grieving or at a funeral or at a funeral or something like that, I can see that that’s what you’re supposed to do. But I don’t feel it. If I feel anything, I feel bad for Ted Irvine, Chris’ dad."
He continued:
"[Irvine's] a great guy, as we all know. Former NHL hockey player. Chris’ dad always treated me kindly, even though others said he’s a psychopath, there’s something wrong with him. Ted Irvine was always good to me. So I feel bad, but I guess maybe I’m doing for Chris Jericho what Ted Irvine wasn’t able to do. Tell him, 'It’s time, it’s over. Time to stop. You’ve had a great run. You’re maybe the greatest of all time, but end it now, and allow the ending to be the beginning for the Don Callis Family and Will Hobbs," [H/T: Fightful]
