Chris Jericho is set for a major title match against a former WWE star
As mentioned earlier, Chris Jericho is currently the ROH World Champion and recently retained his title against Tomohiro Ishii. Last week on Ring of Honor television, Jericho was interrupted by the former WWE star, Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder).
Cardona has been very active in the Indies ever since his WWE departure in 2020. Meanwhile, Matt Cardona is set to challenge Jericho for the ROH World Title at the Final Battle event on December 20, 2024.
Henceforth, it remains to be seen if Matt Cardona manages to capture the ROH World Title from Jericho at Final Battle.
