AEW fans believe that Christian Cage is a future World Champion. He won a 12-man Casino Gauntlet match at the All In Pay-Per-View. By doing so, is eligible to challenge for the AEW World Championship whenever he wants. The title is currently held by Jon Moxley.

Christian Cage locked horns with Jay White in the main event of this week's Dynamite. The match was won by the former after "Hangman" Adam Page interfered and delivered a Buckshot Lariat to White. This was possible because the referee was distracted by Kip Sabian. Interestingly, Sabian made a weird mistake during this showdown.

A user on X shared a clip from the match where the 32-year-old mistimed his interference. Thankfully, due to the veteran Christian Cage's presence of mind, things didn't go wrong. When he saw the AEW star trying to interfere in his match, he shouted, "Not yet". Sabin realized that he got the timing wrong and went back to his seat. Soon after, he appeared once again, and helped the leader of The Patriacy beat Jay White.

It's hard to say if this was a botch or a planned spot. However, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for both, Sabin and Cage.

Christian Cage revealed that Jon Moxley helped him to get signed with All Elite Wrestling

Christian was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet of Insight earlier this year. In it, the former WWE Superstar revealed that Jon Moxley helped him to get signed to the Jacksonville-based promotion.

"A friend of mine, Jon Moxley, called me and we were talking and he found out that I wasn't signed, he was blown away by that. He said you should have a conversation with Tony Khan." said Cage. [H/T: The Sportster]
