CJ Perry recently penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram account. This came after a very upsetting update about her family.
A few days ago, former Lana shared unfortunate family news on social media. She informed her fans that her grandfather had fallen and, therefore, was taken to the emergency room.
She said, "Good morning. I'm gonna go see my grandfather. They say like four to six months. He's in the hospital now. But we're taking him back to assisted living. He fell, so he had to go to the hospital, the emergency room today. How's y'all's day going?"
A few hours ago, she shared a follow-up post on her Instagram story. She revealed that she had to sleep on the floor for four days while her grandfather was put in assisted living. Music and dance help her to deal with all the grief, she said.

She added that people take their ability to walk and dance for granted, but she is thankful that she gets to live normally without any illness hindering her capacity to do common things.
"How I cope with grief is music and dance. After four days of sleeping on the floor of assisted living with my grandfather, I am reminded that the ability to walk, dance, and go to the bathroom on our own are all simple gifts we take for granted," Perry wrote.
CJ Perry is no longer with AEW
CJ Perry had an interview with USA Today around a month ago. During the interview, she disclosed that she had left Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling.
The former AEW star had a short run in the Jacksonville-based company. She became All Elite last year. She debuted at the All Out PPV, which took place on September 3, 2023, where she saved her ex-husband Miro from a post-match attack from Powerhouse Hobbs.
CJ has revealed that she has no interest in performing inside the ring. She wants to become the greatest manager of all time and considers Paul Heyman as her idol.
