Claudio Castagnoli (fka Cesaro) makes major AEW announcement

Claudio Castagnoli (fka Cesaro) made a major announcement on the latest edition of AEW Collision. This will no doubt excite the fans, especially those of the Swiss Superman.

The Blackpool Combat Club member has made no secret of his desire to become a champion in AEW. He has now laid out the perfect plan to achieve that, and it could come at the expense of the Continental Champion, Kazuchika Okada.

Backstage, Claudio Castagnoli cut a promo saying that he wanted to win the Continental Title before this year’s Continental Classic after the former WWE star earned a shot at Okada’s title last week on Collision. He said that he would be challenging the Japanese star for the title on August 21.

That will be the first-ever Dynamite and Collision show in Europe, taking place in Cardiff, Wales. It will happen just days before the All In event at Wembley Stadium. Claudio Castagnoli also warned Okada that in case he did not understand, he would meet him face-to-face next week on Dynamite to make sure he got the message.

It will be interesting to see what happens in that match, given that it will take place just a few days before AEW's biggest show of the year.
