CM Punk insults major AEW star with a four-word message

WWE Superstar CM Punk jokingly sent an insulting message to a major AEW star after wishing him a happy birthday. That would be none other than Danhausen.

The 34-year-old star has not been featured on AEW programming for the past several months now. Nonetheless, he has been on the independent wrestling scene amid his absence. Danhausen is very active on social media where he often shares funny banter with his close friend, CM Punk.

Recently, Punk shared a selfie with Danhausen on his Instagram story, wishing the latter a happy birthday. The AEW star reacted to the message by jokingly taking a dig at the Best in the World writing the following in his recent Instagram story:

"Your ice cream combo is strange and wrong. Thank you"

The Second City Saint took notice of the above message by Danhausen and jokingly insulted the AEW star in his next Instagram story. Punk wrote the following reacting to the Kid Gorgeous:

"F*ck you very much"

It remains to be seen when the 34-year-old star makes a return to the Tony Khan-led promotion.

CM Punk wants to wrestle two WWE legends at WrestleMania 41

After his blockbuster return to WWE last year, CM Punk unfortunately missed WrestleMania XL due to an injury. Nonetheless, the Second City Saint recently called out WWE legends Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock for matches at WrestleMania next year. While speaking during the Fanatics Fest NYC Live, Punk stated:

"Sign me up, yeah. They were just asking me about Steve Austin over there. You know, WrestleMania is two nights. Give me Steve one night, give me Rock night two. I don't care. Let's go. Let's do it."

Meanwhile, Punk is currently involved in a heated feud with Drew McIntyre and also has issues with Seth Rollins. Only time will tell what Triple H has in store for the Best in the World.
