CM Punk recently jokingly claimed that a popular AEW star has no nipples. The star in question is the "Very Nice, Very Evil" Danhausen. Both the Second City Saint and Danhausen have been public about their friendship. Both stars have exchanged multiple social media posts with each other highlighting their bond.
The former AEW World Champion was suspended from the Jacksonville-based promotion following the backstage brawl that occurred during the post-All Out media scrum.
While there have been rumors that the self-proclaimed Best in the World could be back on AEW television soon there are no confirmations as of yet. Earlier today, CM Punk shared an Instagram Story that saw him meeting up with Punk Rock musician Lars Frederiksen. He is also the guitarist and vocalist for the band Rancid.
During their meet-up, Frederiksen asked the former WWE Champion if wrestling legend Haystacks Calhoun was Danhausen's illegitimate father. Punk denied that claim and mentioned that he was part of the Humphrey family and jokingly mentioned that he has no nipples.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
“False. It’s actually false. He isn’t really fat, disgusting son of a b***. But he’s actually the descendant of Happy Humphrey. And a little-known fact about Danhausen is, he has no nipples,” CM Punk said. [00:14 - 00:27]
The video clip ended with the Rancid vocalist calling the Chicago-born star 'a cancer'. Seemingly mocking the reports that Chris Jericho called CM Punk the same after the backstage brawl.
WWE veteran Bully Ray wants Tony Khan to announce CM Punk's AEW return ahead of time
As mentioned earlier, it is heavily rumored that the controversial star will return to the Jacksonville-based promotion soon. It will supposedly be on the debut episode of AEW's brand-new show Collision. WWE veteran Bully Ray commented on these rumors during the latest episode of The Busted Open Radio podcast. He suggested that Tony Khan should announce the much-anticipated return ahead of time.
"I would announce it. Because I'd want the entire wrestling community to be sitting in their chairs watching it live on television, so now I can count that my rating was higher," Bully Ray said. [H/T: WrestlingInc]
It is being reported that Tony Khan and the Chicago native are on good terms.
