CM Punk has shared his reaction to a popular AEW star's photograph with another "very famous star" attired in the costume of an iconic horror character. The talent in question is none other than Danhausen.
The star began appearing in the Tony Khan-led promotion in 2022, debuting during a Lights Out match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy, and would eventually align with the latter and with his former stable, Best Friends. Despite being signed with All Elite Wrestling, Danhausen has remained absent from programming for a considerable period of time and has been plying his trade in the independent circuit in the meantime.
The 34-year-old star has for quite some time now been good friends with former AEW star and current WWE talent CM Punk. The Best in the World often interacts with Danhausen on social media, and their relationship has seemingly continued to grow despite Punk's termination from All Elite Wrestling last year.
The Very Nice, Very Evil star recently took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with an individual dressed as Art the Clown from the horror franchise Terrifier.

"Met very famous, very evil movie star once. He also has all the human money 🎃🎃🎃 ," wrote Danhausen in the caption.

Danhausen's post elicited a witty response from CM Punk, who shared a gif of Doink the Clown and the imposter he employed to trick and defeat Crush at WrestleMania IX in the comments section.
What WWE's CM Punk and AEW's Danhausen have been up to lately
In his first major program since making his WWE comeback in 2023, CM Punk was embroiled in a blood feud with Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath emerged victorious in their bout at Summerslam 2024, although The Straight Edge Superstar evened the score by beating McIntyre in a Strap Match at Bash in Berlin 2024. The two men clashed again in a brutal Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood earlier this month, with the former AEW World Champion picking up the win once more.
Danhausen, on the other hand, was last seen in action in an All Elite ring during the Zero Hour pre-show before Worlds End 2023, unsuccessfully participating in a Battle Royal for a shot at the TNT Championship. The Michigan native has been competing in the independents as of late, wrestling in promotions such as GCW, REVOLVER, Dreamwave, and OTT Wrestling.
