CM Punk took another dig at AEW on the latest edition of RAW. This isn't the first time he would subtly mention the Jacksonville-based promotion. Since leaving the company in August 2023 and returning to WWE a few months later, the Voice of the Voiceless has expressed his feelings towards AEW various times.
Currently, the Tony Khan-led promotion is reportedly struggling to sell tickets in arenas for their weekly shows Dynamite and Collision. Those in attendance are often seated opposite the hard cam to make it seem that the arena is full or has a large crowd.
The Second City Saint cost Drew McIntyre a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity after he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during Seth Rollins and Damian Priest's bout. CM Punk attacked Drew brutally with a chair and even the championship. Later, a furious McIntyre caused havoc on the post-show panel and accidentally hit General Manager Adam Pearce, getting suspended in the process.
On tonight's RAW, CM Punk talked about the events that transpired last week and seemingly took a subtle shot at AEW, saying an audience is sitting at the hard-camera side.

It will be interesting to see if AEW responds to the former AEW World Champion in the future.
