4. "They gotta be ashamed of themselves" - Jim Cornette lashes out at WWE's "boring" promos; compares it to CM Punk promo in AEW

Jim Cornette, famed wrestling commentator, gave his opinion on WWE's scripted promos and compared them to CM Punk's promos in AEW. Cornette seems to favor CM Punk in AEW. On his recent podcast, The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette voiced his approval for CM Punk's promo work in AEW. He also compared it to WWE's "contrived" and "choreographed" promo segments.

"There hasn't been any segment that WWE has produced this year that's been as good as the Punk segment and the few others we have praised to the heavens because it looks like it belongs on a wrestling show and somebody didn't script it. That's what they need, that's why the WWE is boring and losing all their viewers ... They gotta be ashamed of themselves," - Jim Cornette on The Jim Cornette Experience

3. CM Punk reacted to Hook's AEW in-ring Debut

CM Punk recently took to Twitter to take a jab at Team Taz member Hook, finally debuting in AEW. Punk humoursly used the #SendHook hashtag, a callback to when Chris Jericho shouted the phrase during a AEW Rampage segment. Punk also used the term in person during his short feud with "Powerhouse" Will Hobbs.

Regardless of the humorous jab, CM Punk seems to be as impressed with Hook's debut as fans were. Hook was a member of Team Taz before officially debuting during last week's AEW Rampage.

Hopefully there's a Hook vs CM Punk match somewhere down the road.
