2. Disco Inferno points out major mistake AEW is making with CM Punk
Comparing CM Punk to Brock Lesnar is not the only thing Disco Inferno has had to say about Punk recently. Disco Inferno recently criticized AEW's booking of CM Punk. According to Inferno, Punk's return to Pro Wrestling after 7 years has been met with underwhelming praise. His initial return seemed promising, but Punk has consistently been put up against younger talent.
On the other side of the coin, Bryan Danielson has had better booking, even receiving an AEW title shot. Disco Inferno strongly believes that CM Punk needs to face more legitimate opponents. He's also criticized Punk for facing young wrestlers like Lee Moriarty.
"This is the biggest mistake they've made. If you actually think that promoting CM Punk vs. Lee Moriarty is going to get people interested in watching that segment, as I will just completely disagree with you. And I think the numbers show nobody gives a f**k about watching CM Punk fighting Lee Moriarty. When he does fight more credible opponents, you'll see more people watching because we involved in better stuff. So that's what I think so," - Disco Inferno on CM Punk's booking.
1. Hook breaks CM Punk's 4-month long t-shirt sale record
While second-generation wrestler Hook made his debut on Rampage last week, something else happened behind the scenes. Since his return to professional wrestling, CM Punk has been the top t-shirt seller on Pro Wrestling Tees every week. Since Taz finally decided to send Hook, Punk's t-shirt sales streak has been broken.
Hook made a strong in-ring debut, and impressed many fans and wrestlers alike. The young wrestler could be on his way to break more than just CM Punk's t-shirt sales.
