The Hurt Business was a highly influential faction in the WWE. Formed in 2020, the stable consisted of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin. As a group, they held various titles such as the WWE Championship, the United States Championship, the RAW Tag Team Championship, and the 24/7 Championship.
Unfortunately, The Hurt Business was disbanded in 2022. Apart from Alexander, none of the members are currently signed to the Stamford-based company. Interestingly, there is a huge possibility that a new version of this faction might soon be launched. Recently, Totally Harmless Concept, LLC, filed a trademark for The Hurt Syndicate. Notably, this is the same company that had previously filed a trademark for the name MVP.
During a recent appearance on a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, MVP revealed that he, Lashley, and Benjamin have been "discussing things," and fans would receive an update on the situation shortly.
"The Hurt Business is dead, and it was killed off by the powers that be at WWE. But I can say this: Myself, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin—we’re talking amongst ourselves about what we want to do going forward; I’ll just say, ‘Stay tuned!''' he said. [H/T: Fightful]

The 50-year-old's revelation led to some fans speculating on X (Twitter) that the revamped version of The Hurt Business could join AEW and show up at the All Out PPV later tonight.
Furthermore, some fans claimed that former TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs would join forces with Lashley and Co.
Omos on his relationship with MVP
MVP managed The Nigerian Giant Omos during his recent stint in the Stamford-based promotion. Following his departure from the company, the seven-foot-three-inch tall wrestler stated that he learned a lot from MVP during their time together. The WWE Superstar also admitted that he would miss the 50-year-old.
"I’m definitely going to miss him. I think it was time, and in our time spent together, I was able to learn a lot from him. I was able to pick his brain. We spoke about everything from wrestling to promos. How to be a good heel," he said. [H/T: Inside the Ropes]
It will be interesting to see if Bobby Lashley and Co. revamp The Hurt Business in the coming days.
