Fans reacted furiously after Chris Jericho defeated a rising star at AEW Dynasty. The star being discussed is HOOK.
The former FTW Champion has been one of the fastest-rising stars in the company. Following recent reports that the youngster may not renew his contract with AEW, he went up against The Lionheart for the FTW Championship. The match was set after he refused to take up Jericho's offer to take him under The Ocho's wings. However, things got personal once the former world champion laid hands on Tazz.
The contest between these two had a lot of great action, with Jericho taking many bumps. However, Le Champion won the bout after bashing the 24-year-old star with a baseball bat, becoming the new FTW Champion. This was Jericho's first singles championship, albeit unsanctioned, since losing the AEW World Championship.

Chris Jericho has been in the pro wrestling business for more than 30 years and has been going strong. However, Ricky Starks thinks he should hang up his boots now.
Speaking in a Sportskeeda Exclusive, Ricky Starks stated that Will Ospreay should retire The Lionheart in an 'I Quit' match.
"You know what it would take? An 'I Quit' Match where his [Jericho's] career was on the line. I think his last opponent in my opinion should be Will Ospreay," he said.
It remains to be seen if HOOK will actually consider his options about leaving AEW and moving to WWE.
