Congratulations to AEW star Anthony Ogogo

AEW star Anthony Ogogo recently shared great news with fans amid his absence from TV. He made a personal announcement on Instagram.

Anthony Ogogo has been signed to AEW since 2021 and is primarily seen in Ring of Honor. The 35-year-old is a member of the Shane Taylor Promotions faction alongside Lee Moriarty and Shane Taylor. Ogogo's latest ROH appearance came on July 20, 2024.

The British star was last seen on AEW TV in a tag match on the July 10 edition of Collision, where he teamed up with Lee Moriarty in a losing effort against Top Flight.

On Instagram, Anthony Ogogo recently shared a picture with his wife, revealing that they were set to welcome a child. The All Elite Wrestling star wrote the following in the caption of the post:

"Seconds out, Round One. The next round in life’s ring: Parenthood! Baby Ogogo, our future champ, is on the way! 🥊🤎"

Anthony Ogogo commented on re-signing with AEW

Anthony Ogogo re-signed with All Elite Wrestling last year after the conclusion of his first deal. In an interview with Fightful Wrestling, Ogogo revealed why he chose to remain with the Tony Khan-led promotion.

"I could have been off, I could have went elsewhere when my contract expired last year. But I feel I owe it to AEW, I owe it to Tony Khan, I owe it to fans that have invested in me thus far to show them what I can do and how big I can get. So essentially, I like it here. I like the people here. I hope, I really hope that here I can get on the path to show what I can do."

Ogogo has faced popular names like Cody Rhodes, Austin Gunn, and Chris Jericho in All Elite Wrestling. It will be interesting to see what's next for him in the company.
