Lance Archer is one of AEW's many veteran talents who bring decades of experience to the young locker room. He has publicly expressed some frustration as of late, but remains focused on dominating the competition in Tony Khan's companies. Fans are currently praising Archer on what is a big day for the multi-time champion.
The Ticked Off Texan began his pro wrestling journey back in the summer of 2000. After 4 years on the Texas indie scene, Archer debuted with TNA and his 4-year run included two reigns with the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Following a brief run in All Japan, he then signed a WWE developmental deal to work FCW in 2009. The 19-month run included matches in FCW, WWE's ECW brand, SmackDown, and Superstars. Archer then found success in NJPW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and GFW, before signing with AEW in February 2020. He has continued to work various indie dates while under contract to Khan.
The Murderhawk Monster has wrestled 11 AEW matches in 2024 so far and 9 for ROH. The 47-year-old recently made accusations against AEW, but today he is in a celebratory mood on his 24th anniversary. Archer took to Instagram to mark the occasion, and included a side-by-side look at how he's changed.
"Today marks my 24th #anniversary in Pro Wrestling. It’s been an INTERESTING journey to say the least. Here’s to another 24! (Haha. Just kidding. Shoot me if I try that!)," Lance Archer wrote with the photos below.
