Swerve Strickland was stabbed on AEW Dynamite last week
In the last few weeks, Swerve Strickland has had a few run-ins with Ricochet backstage in AEW. As a result, the former AEW World Champion confronted the highflyer following his loss in the semi-final of the Continental Classic tournament at Worlds End. Swerve asked the fans to throw toilet paper at the One and Only star in the ring, and the latter looked angry for the humiliating segment.
Last week on Dynamite, Swerve faced off against Jay White and Roderick to determine who would enter the Casino Gauntlet match. During the bout, the former NXT North American Champion attacked Swerve from the crowd, allowing White to pick up the win.
Ricochet then took a scissor and brutally stabbed Strickland in the forehead multiple times. Things could've gotten worse for the former World Champion if the Undisputed Kingdom had not come out to make the save.
It will be interesting to see how Swerve Strickland will retaliate after this brutal attack from Ricochet.
