Controversial AEW star returns wearing Sting’s mask to cost FTR World Tag Team Championship at Dynasty

A highly-talked-about AEW star made his return at Dynasty and cost FTR a chance to become the new World Tag Team Champions. This would be Jack Perry.

In the finals of the AEW tag team tournament to crown the new champions, FTR faced The Young Bucks in a Ladder Match. This was their fourth encounter with one another, and the nature of the match was fitting considering the history between these two tag teams.

All four men gave their all to dish out punishment to one another. The match saw everything from broken tables, chair shots, ladder spots, and near calls.

At one point in the match, Dax Harwood had the perfect setup, but as he was about to grab the titles, a man in the mask from the crowd came and pushed him off the ladder. This was revealed to be Jack Perry and his actions cost FTR the match and opened up a record-breaking third AEW tag team title reign for The Young Bucks.

For some time now, the EVPs have been hinting at an alliance with Jack Perry, as they were full of praise for him. Tonight could be an indication that they have found the fourth member of The Elite and Perry could join them and Kazuchika Okada as part of the faction.
