A 36-year-old former AEW star recently hinted at a potential return to WWE. The star being discussed here is former TNA/Impact Knockouts Champion Allie (FKA The Bunny. Fans also reacted to the star's hint.
Allie was one of the originals in AEW who had signed with the company before the promotion's debut show. She worked in the Tony Khan-led promotion for four years. In 2023, she parted ways with the Jacksonville-based promotion after both parties mutually decided not to renew her contract.
A curious fan recently asked Allie on social media if she would move to WWE NXT or return to wrestling altogether. She responded to this question by saying that she was happy with her current life but didn't deny returning to the ring. This may be a hint that she might choose to join WWE in the future.
She said, “I’m really not sure. Never say never. I’m happy away for now.”
Her comments have sparked interest among the fans which has got them talking on social media.
"Aew never fully invested in any of the originals most are gone now," a fan stated.
Another fan said, "Glad she's happy away, that's way more important. She's missed."
The fans love and appreciate her work in the field of pro wrestling.
"Loved her work in TNA and AEW - glad she got national runs," this user commented.
"If she comes back it’ll be in TNA not NXT, she’ll go be with her friends instead of a warehouse in Florida with college trainees," a person tweeted.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the star and whether Triple H will bring her to WWE.
Allie attended AEW star Ruby Soho's wedding
Last month on Rampage, Ruby Soho and her on-screen as well as real-life partner Angelo Parker announced that they were expecting their first child together. The couple got hitched a month after the pregnancy announcement.
The ceremony took place in Ohio on Sunday and several stars were in attendance. Allie was present on the occasion alongside Toni Storn, Kris Statlander, Anna Jay, Skye Blue, John Silver, and many more.
However, one star was not present there and it was Austin Gunn. He was not even invited. He was annoyed by the fact that he didn't get an invitation to the wedding and expressed his agitation on Instagram.
