A current AEW star recently made her debut at a Japanese promotion, becoming the first female All Elite star to debut in the said promotion. The star also made history with her recent appearance.
The name in question is none other than Anna Jay. Anna has been signed with Tony Khan's promotion since 2020. However, she has had an underwhelming run despite having great in-ring talent. She last appeared on an episode of Dynamite in June where she teamed with The Outcasts and suffered a loss against Toni Storm, Mariah May, and Mina Shirakwa.
Recently, Anna Jay made her debut at the popular Japanese wrestling promotion, STARDOM in the 5star Grand Prix Tournament. After winning her first match against Saori Anou, she lost her second bout in the tournament against Starlight Kid.
Meanwhile, Jay made history with her most recent Japanese appearance. Anna Jay recently made her Korakuen Hall debut to face Syuri. Anna made history by becoming the first AEW original female star to appear at a sold-out Korakuen Hall.

AEW star on her goals for the ongoing tournament
As mentioned earlier, the current AEW star, Anna Jay is one of the participants in the ongoing Grand Prix Tournament. In an exclusive promo on STARDOM, Anna disclosed her goals in the tournament:
"As for my personal goals within this tournament, obviously, I just want to get better as a wrestler, better as a performer, and hone my craft as much as I can in the time that I'm there. Something I'm also setting a goal for myself is to be in the finals. Whether or not that's a far reach or not, I don't care. We all have to have goals and dreams. So that is my goal,"
Moreover, Anna Jay has not been seen on Tony Khan's promotion for quite some time now and it will be interesting to see if she could win the ongoing tournament in Japan.
