AEW stars are seen weekly on Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. However, many roster members stay busy outside the company with full-time schedules. A fan-favorite talent has just issued a statement after being pulled from a show planned for this month.

Danhausen has been with All Elite Wrestling since January 2022. The 11-year industry veteran remains under contract to the Tony Khan-led company but has not wrestled for the organization since the Worlds End Zero Hour pre-show Battle Royal in December 2023.

The face-painted star's last ROH date was in February 2024. Despite the hiatus from AEW, Danhausen has continued to work for various indie wrestling promotions worldwide, mainly GCW and OTT.

Very Nice Very Evil was scheduled to wrestle on FTW Wrestling's September Slam Tour on Friday in Lake City, Florida, and Saturday in St. Petersburg, FL. However, Danhausen took to X/Twitter this morning to announce that FTW promoters had pulled him from the shows.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Hello anyone who was planning on going to see me wrestle in Florida at FTW on Friday and Saturday. Danhausen was just taken off the show last second by the promoter. I will not be there," Danhausen wrote.

Danhausen did not elaborate on why FTW pulled him from both shows, and the promotion has not publicly commented on the situation as of this writing. They are still advertising Danhausen on the flyers for both shows on X/Twitter and Facebook.

Mariah May responds to returning AEW star

Anna Jay has announced that she is returning to AEW. Jay has been in Japan working for Stardom, but her vignette from Collision included a potential warning to Women's World Champion Mariah May and TBS Champion Mercedes Moné.

Jay has now called out The Star of the Show. May took to X/Twitter to respond to the 26-year-old's promo.

"I've been to Japan too. And now I am AEW Women's World Champion. What's your excuse?," Mariah May wrote with the photo below.

May is set to be in tag team action on Wednesday's Dynamite. She will team up with Serena Deeb to face Queen Aminata and Yuka Sakazaki.
