Dutch Mantell thinks AEW star Chris Jericho's gimmick will be dead in a year

Chris Jericho has become the talk of the town after debuting his new character. While some fans initially didn't like the gimmick, they have now started to admire The Ocho's latest act.

On Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the pro wrestling veteran claimed that Jericho's new gimmick had a limited lifespan in AEW.

"I do think Chris Jericho has outstayed his welcome. But I think he has noted the reactions of the fans, the way they greet him and receive him. So, he is gonna take that, that the fans have created themselves, and he's gonna fashion his new gimmick, his new persona, as they call it, and run with it. I would like to give it a year, but I think it will be dead before a year. I will give it six months before it runs its route," Mantell said.
