Danhausen hasn't been on AEW TV for nearly a year now. Fightful Select recently released a report addressing his lengthy absence from the company's programming.
The report mentioned that AEW and the 34-year-old wrestling star haven't been in regular contact for over six months. All Elite Wrestling's creative team previously had plans for his return to television, but they never materialized. The report also suggested that his contract with the Jacksonville-based company was set to run until the summer of 2025.
While Kid Gorgeous has been missing from AEW TV, he has been active on the independent circuit. AEW was seemingly under the impression that he would rather work on the indies than compete on Collision on Saturdays. But the absent star gave family-related reasons for his unavailability.
Although he is reportedly signed to the promotion until mid-2025, there is no news on when Danhausen might return to TV. Amid rumors about his AEW future, the face-painted recently shared a cryptic post on X/Twitter.

After the report went viral on social media, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Matt Cardona seemingly took a shot at The Very Nice Very Evil star.
"How many AEW figures has he had compared to matches wrestled?" Cardona wrote.
The Michigan native joined AEW in 2022 and made his debut on a special episode of Dynamite called Beach Break on January 26. He has been part of the promotion for over two years but has sporadically wrestled on TV. It will be interesting to see when the face-painted star will return to an All Elite Wrestling ring.
